When I was first diagnosed I immediately sought out other Muslim sisters but quickly found that there are few resources and little or no information that addressed my concerns as a Muslim woman. As we know breast cancer affects men as well so if the support and education is so lacking for us women, it must be horrendous for our brothers who are challenged with this disease. It is imperative that we do better.
