What can YOU do for Muslimas Oasis?

I was listening to a lecture by Sheikh Anwar al-Awlaki today and he was talking about Islamic movements (dawah movements i believe, somewhat different to this movement)

He told the listeners that they need to ask themselves “What can I do for the movement?” rather than wait for the movement to do something for them.

So! What can YOU do for Muslimas Oasis?

Obviously, you can become an Author, this means write for our blog regularly or as a Guest Author. There are requirements to be met so read more about it by clicking “Join” in the top menu and Apply!

If you are knowledgeable in the deen, contribute your council and advice to the management team of Muslimas Oasis so that we can get the most reward and benefit out of our efforts, contribute to our efforts to make MO an islamic movement which is inviting and welcoming to those outside the muslim community.

Create media. This means flyers, brochures, youtube videos, art, graphics etc. for our causes and for our movement.

If you are affiliated with a media outlet like a newspaper, radio station or TV station, report about MO and what we are trying to do or let us know about advertising opportunities.

Tell others about Muslimas Oasis muslim or non muslim, as long as people are talking about us, this will help us grow. Post about us on your facebook, in a forum, on your myspace, youtube, in your blog or on your website.

Give us feedback, this will help us improve.

Make dua for us and for the success and benefit of the movement.

Ask yourself, what can I do for Muslimas Oasis?
