Salam & Peace everyone!

If you recall we changed our logo some months ago with the help of our facebook fans, since then I’ve been feeling increasingly that it was the wrong decision for Muslimas Oasis’ identity. Finally I brought it to the attention of our readers and suggested we go back to our old logo:

However there is some controversy among Muslims surrounding the Prayer Beads or Dhikr beads and while most who responded had no problem with the Dhikr bead symbolism, I was uncomfortable with associating that sort of controversy and disunity among Muslims with Muslimas Oasis (our ideals being the opposite) so I presented 3 alternatives (alongside the original Dhikr bead logo) and asked our facebook fans to choose which was their favorite.

An overwhelming majority chose the top logo because of it’s continuity and fluid curve. Several still preferred the original and a few chose the second from the top.

Still, in the end, it was decided by the majority and our new logo stands proudly atop our page, it might take a week or so to change it over everywhere, but we’ll get there.
