About our Blog
Muslimas Oasis is a collaborative blog founded in 2006 by and for Muslim (and non Muslim) Women. We share thoughts & ideas on issues affecting Women around the world from a Muslim Woman’s perspective.
Muslimas Oasis offers a safe and established platform with the aim of empowering Muslim Women to speak up and speak out about the issues that are important to them. We welcome new Authors regularly.

Muslimas Oasis was featured in the 3rd issue of MB Muslima Magazine which was published on October 1st 2009 and has been featured in several issues thereafter.
We were nominated for 2 Brass Crescent Awards, Best Blog and Best Group Blog in 2010.
Muslimas Oasis was 14th on American Muslim Mom’s Top 50 Muslim Mom Blogs.
Muslimas Oasis was 28th on American Muslim Mons Top 100 Muslim Women facebook page list. Our project Blue Hijab Day was Number 50 and Little Miss Sunshine was Number 81.
